Big Tractor Power is out in an Eastern Illinois field with two big tractors. Spring field work is underway with a 410 hp Caterpillar CHALLENGER 95E tractor with a 45ft Case IH 330 Tru-Tandem Turbo working on soil preparation ahead of soybean seeding. Working just across the road from the Caterpillar tractor is a 500 hp Case IH 500 Quadtrac tractor applying anhydrous ammonia as a nitrogen fertilizer source for corn with a 47ft DMI 5300 Nutri Applicator.
