“Farmin’ Like” is a parody of “Fancy Like” by Walker Hayes! A farm doesn’t have to have fancy stuff to get things done. Big and fancy might work for some farms but that doesn’t mean it has to be that way for others! It takes every farm around the world doing the best they can with what works for them in their situation. Comment below and let us know about your farm, fancy or not very fancy! And please share this video if you liked it and check out our other music videos (we have 25 of them!) on our channel. Thanks for watching and Happy Thanksgiving!

Original music: “Fancy Like” by Walker Hayes
Parody Lyrics: Greg Peterson
My wagon bangin’
It’s so high maintenance
But it works good enough to put my grain in
Pull down to the yard
To put some seed in
End up workin on a leaky hose that’s bleedin
And maybe someday after I get paid
I can treat myself to an upgrade
But for now…
Yeah we seedin’ those wheat fields on a late night
Got that Kansas sunset and my favorite pet
Planting soybeans and the corn too
More seeds what I need, yo I got you!
Drinking that water from my farm jugs
Sweat, sweatin in my t-shirt squishing them bugs
Eating mini van meals in the field what a sight
That’s how we do how we do, farmin’ like!
Don’t need no X9 to have a good time
I got my 7720 it does just fine
Don’t need no heated shop to raise my next crop
I’m content with some dents and no payments
And maybe someday after I get paid
I can treat myself to an upgrade
But for now…
We combining milo on a date night
Got that Kansas sunset and my favorite pet
Cutting soybeans and the corn too
Full bin, grain cart, yo I got you!
Drinking that water from my farm jugs
Sweat, sweating in my sweatshirt, checking them lugs
Eating pickup bed meals in the field what a sight
That’s how we do how we do, farmin’ like!
My old ripped blue jeans with the pliers dirty
Country kisses in the pasture under skies pretty
The smell of fresh cut alfalfa and the summer breeze
Oil, grease, milo dust now i gotta sneeze!
On the farm we’ve been raising your food now
Crops and animals create products and chow, how?
We been farmin like doing chores on a great night
Got that Kansas sunset and my favorite pet
Mixing silage and the hay too
More feeds what I need, yo I got you
Thawing those waters from my farm jugs
Freeze, freezin in my coverals loving my hugs
From my family as I think about how much I love this life
That’s how we do how we do, farmin’ like!
The Peterson Farm Bros are made up of Greg (30), Nathan (27), and Kendal (25) Peterson. We are 5th generation family farmers who farm together in Kansas with our parents David and Marla, our sister Laura, and our wives BrookeAnna (Greg’s), Riley (Nathan’s) and Caelan (Kendal’s). This channel is full of videos about our family farm and what we do to take care of animals and grow crops. Our videos range from parodies, to informational videos, to entertainment videos, to our “Life of a Farmer” vlogs. It is our hope that these videos will give everyone who watches them a better understanding of what a real farm in the midwest looks like. We try to be as honest and upfront as possible in our videos and our posts and hope that viewers will realize how much hard work goes into farming! With over 140 million combined views on Facebook and YouTube, you don’t want to miss out!
