The Peterson Farm Bros are made up of Greg (29), Nathan (26), and Kendal (23) Peterson. We are 5th generation family farmers who farm together in Kansas with our parents David and Marla, our sister Laura, and our wives BrookeAnna (Greg’s), Riley (Nathan’s) and Caelan (Kendal’s). This channel is full of entertaining videos about our family farm and what we do to take care of animals and grow crops. It is our hope that these videos will give everyone who watches them a better understanding of what a real farm in the midwest looks like. We try to be as honest and upfront as possible in our videos and our posts and hope that viewers will realize how much hard work goes into farming! With over 130 million combined views on Facebook and YouTube, you don’t want to miss out! Lyrics:
Fields are green, the time is here
Old man winter has disappeared
Watered with some springtime showers
Up it grows, purple flowers
We cut the plant, Swath it in rows
Smile as the odor goes in our nose
Admire our work but we’re not done
Gotta rake and bale, but we the need sun!
Quick check the weather, rain at 2
Storm is coming, dark clouds brew
Course it rains, always happens
You want to cry, but you end up laughin’
Nothing you can do about it, Oh well
How long are we stopped? Time will tell
Hay just sits there soaking wet
But…at least there’s a nice sunset
It’s the Net Rap (Hay, Hay, Hay, Haaaaay)
Wind is blowing, sun is shining
Air is warm, Hay is drying
Rake on the tractor looking fly
Windrows merge as it goes by
This airs it out, helps it breathe
Check the moisture, feel the leaves
Turn to my bro, bout time isn’t it?
Yep he says, #sendit
We bale the rows up off the ground
Watch the dust and listen to the sound
Monitor beeps and says it’s done
Starts to wrap, I’m having fun!
Net wrap keeps the hay together
Protects it from all the weather
The better the wrap the better the bale
Keeps the hay from going stale
It’s the Net Wrap (Hay, Hay, Hay, Haaaaay)
Round bale country in our field
The more the bales the more the yield
Pickin up bales stacking them high
Put em on the trailer like a boss no lie
We’ll take them home to feed our cattle
Putting up hay is always a battle
Thankful that the job is done
But already looking forward to next one
Not all net wraps are the same
Some are great some are lame
We like the ones that do the job
Hold the bales together…no prob
When it comes to making hay
Quality is the only way
Make sure that what you use is right
Or problems you will have to fight
That’s a wrap!
