The Peterson Farm Bros are made up of Greg (28), Nathan (26), and Kendal (23) Peterson. We are 5th generation family farmers who farm together in Kansas with our parents David and Marla, our sister Laura, and our wives BrookeAnna (Greg’s), Riley (Nathan’s) and Caelan (Kendal’s). This channel is full of videos about our family farm and what we do to take care of animals and grow crops. Our videos range from parodies, to informational videos, to entertainment videos, to our “Life of a Farmer” vlogs. It is our hope that these videos will give everyone who watches them a better understanding of what a real farm in the midwest looks like. We try to be as honest and upfront as possible in our videos and our posts and hope that viewers will realize how much hard work goes into farming! With over 85 million combined views on Facebook and YouTube, you don’t want to miss out! Lyrics:
The city isn’t the best place for me to be and
So the field is where I go (mmmm)
Me and my family on the farm planting crops
Working fast and then we plan slow (mmmm)
And some of the farmers work the soil till it’s bare but
trust me and give this a chance now (mmmm)
Take a ride, out, to my farm that we’re surveying right
Before we start to plant
And now I’m singing like
Soil, I know you need good health
That’s why I took a soil test to the lab
Come on now, what do you need
N, P, K, S, Ca, Mg
Say, soil, got to protect you
From all the rain, wind, and compaction too
That is why I love these roots
That, That is why I love these roots (mmmm)
I’m in love with the residue
That I pull my planter through
Although tilling is kinda fun too
I’m in love with the cover
Last night I was in the field
Planting clover and radishes too
Every day discovering something brand new
I’m in love with the cover
Oh I oh I oh I oh I
I’m in love with the cover
Oh I oh I oh I oh I
I’m in love with the cover
Oh I oh I oh I oh I
I’m in love with the cover
Every day discovering something brand new
I’m in love with the residue
One week in we let the story begin
It’s sprouted and there’s a big rain (mmmm)
Residue is so nifty, keeps the soil from shifting
Off the field like a runaway train (mmmm)
It’s hot for hours and hours but we don’t even have to scour
Because our moisture’s doing okay (mmmm)
When harvest comes we’re maxing, and it’s far less taxing
Than ripping up the soil all day
And I’m singing like
Soil, I know you need good health
That’s why I keep the soil structure intact
Come on now, what do you need?
Aggregates and microbe activity
Soil, got to protect you
From all the rain, wind, and compaction too
That is why I love these roots
That, That is why I love these roots (mmmm)
I’m in love with the residue
That I pull my seeder through
Although tilling is kinda fun too
I’m in love with the cover
Last night I was in the field
Planting clover and radishes too
Every day discovering something brand new
I’m in love with the cover
Oh I oh I oh I oh I
I’m in love with the cover
Oh I oh I oh I oh I
I’m in love with the cover
Oh I oh I oh I oh I
I’m in love with the cover
Every day discovering something brand new
I’m in love with the residue Content (except for music) property of Peterson Farm Brothers LLC
